Which means I saw two musicals in one year because I saw Newport World Resorts' Shrek the Musical at the Newport Performing Arts Theater and let me tell you guys a musical inside of one of the Philippines' biggest malls and hotels? Count me in! Everyone's performances were great and the Fairytale Creatures (Ensemble) have main character potentials. For the staging, it's like a fairytale that's pulled into real life and the projections and props make it look more magical and awesome. For the costumes, I love Shrek's prosthetics (really faithful to the original) but some of the characters like the Wicked Witch and Mad Hatter need some questioning. Overall I give this a 10/10! NWR you guys did a great job in staging this production!
