Our very first spot to park as full time RVers was at an Organic CSA Farm in Minnesota. We could not have found a more perfect place for our first stop. The owners have lots of kiddos like us. My children got to have the farm experience AND I did not have to own farm. We got there in early April 2016 and left mid October 2016. My kiddos got to help plant several crops and harvest those same crops 5 months later. We were involved in helping with chickens, sheep, pigs, and cattle. We also met so many great people that worked at the farm as part of the WWOOF program too. One of the reasons we did this RV Hack of finding private land to park at was Hannah and I was not excited about living at an RV park with strict rules around how many people can stay on a site and that only kids 14 or older could actually be unaccompanied on property. Hannah used the WWOOF ( http://www.wwoofusa.org ) site to find this location. She had to ask several sites before finding one that fit our unique situation. All you have to do is find one!
