Connect the Dots: MuleSoft Logging and Custom Connectors

This video is from a Denver MuleSoft Meetup. It focuses on 2 subjects: logging and creating a custom connector and publishing the connector to Exchange with MuleSoft. The logging subject will focus on the best way to standardize MuleSoft logs, including MuleSoft application logs in CloudHub and increasing visibility and traceability in a system through logging to an external system like Splunk, ELK, or a database using Log4j. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) Simple Queue Service (SQS) in our Log4j configuration to publish messages to a queue to be consumed by the LogStash, persisted to ElasticSearch, and visualized in Kibana (ELK stack). We will then segue to creating a custom connector which logs in a standardized format and publishing the custom connector to Exchange for reuse.
