Inicialmente, los preludios fueron concebidos como piezas sueltas, pero posteriormente fueron agrupados en este ciclo de 8 preludios dedicados a Carles Trepat. El día en el que se publican estos preludios, 13 de junio, se celebra el cumpleaños de Antonio de Torres y, además, marca el aniversario del último concierto de la “Lira Orfeu Miquel Llobet” en 2017. — "8 Preludis Lírics", composed by Joaquín Panadés in 2016, emerged during the creation process of the orchestra "Lira Orfeu Miquel Llobet", promoted by Carles Trepat, in which Joaquín Panadés participated as a Spanish mandolin player.
