For those of you who didn't see OUATIW, but want to know the story of Anastasia and Will. I condensed the total story to about 15 minutes, divided into 3 parts. This is part 1, which is everything that happened between them BEFORE the events of present day Wonderland took place. ---- Voiceovers: Will: Don't wake up! It's only me, love, it's only me. Will: The newest Merry Man. They bought it. They think me a believer of their cause, and now their cause is ours. Ana: Can it actually do what they say? Take us far away from here? Will: There's only one way to find out. Will: Ready? Ana: As long as I'm with you, I'm ready for anything. Will: I love you, Anastasia. Ana: And I love you, Will Scarlet. Will: Right then-- next stop, Wonderland. Lady Tremaine: I wanted a queen for a daughter, but what did I get instead? A failure. Ana: I'm happy! Finally! Lady Tremaine: What kind of a life is he going to give you? Ana: He doesn't need to give me anything. I love him. Will: Don't listen to her. I'll build us a life, brick by brick if I have to. I love you, for who you truly are, not for who I want you to be. Ana: When I first heard about Wonderland, I figured the wonder was short for 'wonderful.' Not 'wonder how we're gonna make it.' Will: Well I love ya. And I promise you, we'll make it. Ana: We should go! Ana: We could both do with a little change of scenery. Will: You know, that dress will never do. We'll have to borrow you a new one. Will: It's cause we don't belong here, Ana. Ana: Just for a moment, imagine we do. Red King: Most people go with Your Majesty. Will: I'm sorry, did you say you want to go-- Ana: Home. Will: Look, I know things aren't exactly like we imagined-- Ana: They've been nothing like we imagined! Ana: We are gonna steal the crown jewels. Ana: Because it's our best chance of living the life we imagined. Will: I thought I was your best chance for that. Red King: The life you're in.. it isn't the one you were meant for, is it? Ana: It's all I need. Red King: Then why are you stealing? Ana: You'd give them to me? Red King: Perhaps. Ana: At what price? Red King: Your hand. In marriage. Will: Hello, Ana. Ana: What are you doing here? Will: I dunno. To see you. Look you in your eye and ask you why you did it. Ana: And what do you want me to say? Will: That it's a con. That it was a play for the big price. Marry the old man, get the keys to the kingdom, and tomorrow we jump through that mirror and count our riches on the other side. Please, Ana, this isn't you. Ana: You have to go. If the guards catch you they will throw you in the dungeon. Will: See, you're worried about me, that means you care. Ana: Of course I care! But I'm trying to do what's best for both of us! Will: The wagon. Dawn. Meet me there. It's not too late to make things right. Cora: Will Scarlet, I presume? Will: Is she not coming? Cora: She's made her decision. Will: Every day I wake up thinking maybe she changed her mind. Remembered how much she loved me. 'I bet she'll come home today!' But she don't come. Cora: You've served your purpose for her. You brought her here to Wonderland; you helped her realize she was meant for more. Will: I want you to do that to me. Cora: You won't be able to love again. Will: I'd rather feel nothing than feel like this. Cora: You're about to make a terrible mistake. Ana: No.. no, I'm about to fix one. I only hope I'm not too late. Cora: Stop! Cora: Because you could have been a nobody, but you chose to be queen-- you chose power over weakness! Ana: Will's many things, but he's not a liar. He's waiting for me. Cora: Is he? Cora: I don't see him, do you? Cora: This part of your story is over now. But a new chapter is just beginning. You can be a wonderful queen. Ana: Will you show me how? Cora: Oh, of course I will! Cora: You can't bring back the dead; you can't make someone love you; you can't change the past.
