Prophets don’t just predict things—they carry God’s word. When a real prophet speaks, Heaven backs it. It’s not performance. It’s presence. And yes—sometimes they look wild. Ask John the Baptist. But what marks a prophet isn’t style—it’s surrender. They abandon personal agendas. They move by God’s timing. They say what He says—even when it costs them everything. Cessationism lied. God never stopped speaking. But chasing prophetic gifts just to “be prophetic” misses the point. Prophets exist to serve the Body, not flex revelation. They’re held to a higher standard. Not because they’re better. Because their words must land. What they say has to be watched, weighed, and fulfilled. Real prophets make the world nervous and the Church holy. And the Body still needs them—now more than ever.
