When they grow up, Jamie starts to develop feelings for Julie, despite her being like 2 years older than him. They try to form a relationship but Jamie is left broken-hearted when he realizes Julie doesn't reciprocate his feelings for her. She leaves to NYU and loses contact with him. When he grows older, he meets Anne. Although she is nothing like Julie, he still falls in love with her.
