Join us on our 5-day adventure in Shanghai! We arrived in style on a high-speed train from Beijing and jumped straight into exploring this incredible city. On day one, we walked along the famous Nanjing Road, experienced the energy of the city’s Golden Mile, and admired the futuristic skyline of Pudong across the river near the iconic The Bund. The views at night were absolutely unforgettable. During the following days, we tasted amazing local food, explored a beautiful traditional water town near Shanghai, and took time to relax at the 24-hour YouMu Riji Spa. We also went tea shopping at Tianshan Tea City, where we discovered so many varieties of Chinese tea. From modern skyscrapers to peaceful canals, this trip had a bit of everything. Lalai Xiaolong (萊萊小籠·喬艾 靜安店) — 北京西路1726號, Jing’an, Shanghai Famous for its xiao long bao (soup dumplings) and local dim sum. Briant 石窑面包 (丰盛里店) Bakery — C-11 Fengshengli, 233 Maoming North Road, Shanghai A craft bakery perfect for fresh bread and pastries. Tea & Shopping Tianshan Tea City — 518 Zhongshan W Rd, Changning District, Shanghai, China, 200050 Huge tea market with tons of Chinese tea varieties and tea sets. Haus Nowhere — 798–812 Huaihai Middle Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai An immersive, art-driven retail destination by Gentle Monster that blends experimental art installations with fashion, fragrance, and desserts. We actually ran into a small travel-vlogger problem during the trip — we ran out of space on our SD card 😅. Because of that, we didn’t manage to film everything we visited in Shanghai. Unfortunately, we couldn’t record our time at A.P. Plaza Tailor-Made & Clothes Market, the famous market located inside the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum Station on Metro Line 2, where you can find custom clothing, souvenirs, and plenty of bargaining opportunities. We also didn’t film the electronics mall 新大陆广场 (Xin Da Lu Guang Chang) — 南泉北路588号, Shanghai, a large electronics shopping center opposite Suning. That’s actually where we ended up buying our new SD card so we could keep filming the rest of the trip! Even though these places didn’t make it into the video, we’re leaving them here in the description so you can still check them out if you’re visiting Shanghai.
