His life was filled with fear and suffering, reducing his trust in humanity to a bare minimum.  The story of Elton's struggle begins in the harsh streets of Beirut where he was wrongfully discarded as a puppy. Elton grew up fearing humans because of the constant abuse he endured. The relentless battering and cruel mockery from the neighborhood left a deep impact on him, alienating the young canine more and more from society. One appalling day, a man intentionally set his own Pitbull against Elton. For a horrifying three minutes, Elton fought for his life, while the owner cheered his dog on. Over several days, the inflicted injuries started taking a toll on the already battered pup. His facial wounds were swollen and pus-filled, and it appeared he could no longer open his jaw. People in the area knew of his horrendous torment and chose not to help him because they wanted him gone. Thankfully, after one kind-hearted woman reported his condition to our rescue center, we embarked on a seven-hour-long operation. Despite his initial fear, as soon as we caught him, Elton transformed into a completely different dog. It was almost as if he knew he was finally safe. Elton's rescue is only the beginning of his journey towards healing and finding a loving home. We are now looking at getting his injuries treated medically, and we need your help.
