Wunderschöne Felsplatte die im steilen Gelände der Balmflue aus dem Wald ragt. Es hat 15 Routen am Fels die zwischen 25 - 40 Meter lang sind. Nach ca. 25 Metern hat es einen Standplatz eingerichtet. Wer ein 80 oder sogar ein 100 Meter Seil hat, der kann die Route ,Gamskopf 6a+, durchklettern ohne den Stand zu nutzen. Die Balmflue hat mehrere interessante Klettersektoren. Im Sektor «Muchaheddin» z.B. warten fantastische Routen in bestem Löcherfels. «Hexenhammer» (8a) und «Inquisator» (7b+) gehören bestimmt zu den schönsten in diesem Grad im Solothurner Jura. Es hat auch Mehrseillängen wie der beliebte Eulengrat oder den Südgrat, der mit seinen 450 Klettermeter und 14 Seillängen einer der längsten Mehrseillängen im Jura ist. Einzig der Zustieg ist für Jura-Verhältnisse etwas lang und schwierig zu finden! A beautiful slab of rock that rises from the forest in the steep terrain of the Balmflue.
