In this demo I use acrylic gouache to replicate a piece of bright and trippy concept art made by Mary Blair for Disney's 1951 classic, Alice in Wonderland! I'm obsessed with painting on black paper. Gouache's super power of being bright and opaque makes it the perfect medium for a deep, dark background. In this video I talk about how to get that bright contrast along with some tips on colour mixing.
