Indrajith is a middle class guy but then the entire gang is the spirit and soul of the Ilanjikkara village despite their pranks on the Sorakalyanam tradition where they follow the custom of teasing and mocking the prospective grooms and they tease after wedding too. There comes Gopika along with her family from Calcutta and starts living in the village. Eventually, Indrajith gets engaged to Gopika without knowing the dark past she had in Calcutta. He is aware that it is time he has to redeem for all his pranks and despite his best efforts to evade, he cannot escape from the verbal attacks by his gang. But this leads to some serious situations in his personal life and how he manages to come out of all this, is narrated in the latter part.
