A fresh faced white kid from Pittsburgh who came to New York with offers to sign from every single major label.. Found that all the offers were retracted the very next day because Morris Levy called them. Tommy James ended up having over 30 million.. In 1970’s and 70’s money over 100 M’s today stolen by Levy and McCalla at Roulette Records. So Morris Levy and the Mafia stole more money from Tommy James alone than, say, the infamous Frank Matthews, made and stashed. Think about that.
