HE WHO DWELLS – Psalm 91 He who dwells in the secret place Of the Most High God Shall abide under the shadow Of the Almighty I will say of the Lord He is my refuge He is my fortress My God in whom I trust Surely He shall deliver you From the snare of the fowler And from the deadly pestilence He will cover you He will cover you with His feathers And under His wings You will find refuge His truth will be your shield You will not fear the terror of night Nor the arrow that flies by day Nor the pestilence in the darkness Nor destruction at noon A thousand may fall at your side Ten thousand at your right hand But it will not come near you It will not come near Because you have made the Lord your dwelling The Most High your habitation No evil shall befall you No plague shall come near For He will command His angels Concerning you To guard you in all your ways They will lift you up They will lift you in their hands So your foot will not strike a stone You will tread upon the lion And the serpent underfoot Because he loves Me, I will rescue him I will protect him, says the Lord I will answer when he calls I will be with him in trouble I will deliver him and honor him With long life I will satisfy him And show him My salvation ⸻ © 1987, 2025, 2026 Danny Steyne.
