HDMy Cube Review - Best GameCube HDMI Adapter Under $100?

Thanks to the GCVideo project, GameCube enthusiasts have been able to use their DOL-001 model consoles to play their favorite titles over HDMI. Although the original modification was quite intricate, once installed successfully it produced better results than the official GameCube component cables while at the same time being more affordable! However it was not an install for the faint of heart, and not many people were willing to take a chance or drop a huge chunk of change on an installation. In comes the need for external HDMI adapters! The HDMy Cube is a recent contender in the mix, competing against the GCHD, the ZeldaXPro Plug n Play, and the GCVideoX. Earlier this year I purchased a GCHD myself and thought it was a fantastic piece of hardware. While that comes in at $150, the main appeal of it come in with it being cheaper than component cables as well as being readily available. The HDMy Cube at the moment is the cheapest external HDMI adapter for the GameCube on the market, setting you back $90 as opposed to at minimum $100 for any of the competition. It also includes a mini HDMI cable and a remote control to change the settings on the device! On top of all that, there's also a Pro revision for $20 which was designed to make updating the firmware easier.
