Canada winters need no introduction!!! Calgary is a relatively big city is Alberta province of Canada. Winters in Calgary are cold. In Calgary during March average daily high temperatures increase from 37°F to 46°F and it is overcast or mostly cloudy about 63% of the time. Flying in winters is challenging in itself. In Canada winters, there is so much more to it. Many people are worried about flying, and even more worried about flying in the snow. While Calgary and Banff are some of the fantastic winter destinations, “can planes fly in the snow” is a question that often comes up. Though it is true that snow can cause delays and issues, it’s a misconception that they can’t fly in snow. Planes can take off and land pretty smoothly.
