RING SPECS 14k White Gold 1.5mm Comfort Fit Setting (Size: 7) 1.1 Carat Natural Diamond VS2 Color H Excellent Cut Excellent Polish Excellent Symmetry No Fluorescence This is our 1.1 carat solitaire engagement ring we purchased from James Allen with the 14K White Gold 1.5mm Comfort Fit setting. I wanted to make a video showing the setting with our 1.1 carat diamond so others could get a good look at the setting and see what it looks like in real life. Also with the diamond size you can get a better idea what the setting will look like with your diamond in it. We are very happy with the setting so far and really like the classic look of a solitaire ring. All of the focus goes on the diamond itself, which we really like. This setting was right around $400, which is rather inexpensive. It allowed us to spend more of our budget on the diamond itself, which was awesome. The band itself has a slim profile when looking down at the diamond on your finger making the diamond look bigger. If you look at the band from the side you will notice that the band is a bit thicker giving the band some good strength. I originally was worried the band would possibly be too thin from the pictures, but when I saw it in real life it was exactly how I hoped with would be.
