Part 2 is up. Link: • Axis and Allies Huge Custom Map Timelapse ... Ever wonder what an Axis and Allies timelapse would look like? A video where every single unit movement is shown rather than just a summary of what happened at the end of each turn? That's what this is. Unfortunately, however, this map is far too large to fit everything that happened in the game onto a single screen. We can't even fit most of it. So this video only shows the European Theater. If there is enough interest, I will post additional parts showing what happened in the Asian and African Theatres. If no one cares, though, then I won't, lol. These are not easy videos to make. This game took a very long time to complete. Nearly a month, in fact. Do not be fooled by how fast the turns go by in this video. Every time one colour makes a move, we are usually talking about 10-30 minutes of planning and decision-making. All that time only translates to a few frames here. There are 14 nations. That equates to somewhere between 150 and 500 hours of gameplay condensed to less than 5 minutes. This map is really, really big. Shown on screen is only around an eighth of the whole map, give or take. I encourage everyone to download TripleA and try it out. The custom maps are often far more interesting than the standard ones. The game is free and open source. It can be found here: https://triplea-game.org/ The map in this video is called: World at War. I did not create it. It was made by someone named Sieg and probably a bunch of other people too. I don't know the whole story behind it. I only downloaded the map, played the game on-screen, and created this timelapse. Here are the songs I used in the video if anyone is curious. They are from YouTube's audio library: 1) The Bronx is Burning - Doug Maxwell/Media Right Productions. 2) I Can't Remmber I Can't Recall - The 129ers
