Toulouse Street is the second studio album by The Doobie Brothers, released in July 1972. It marked a shift toward a more polished sound compared to their debut, blending rock, folk, and R&B influences. Recorded at Warner Bros. the album was produced by Ted Templeman. Dual drummers Michael Hossack and John Hartman, and featured Patrick Simmons and Tom Johnston as primary songwriters and vocalists. "Toulouse Street": A mellow, acoustic-driven song by Simmons. The album reached #21 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum.
