Julie is a young mother with a two week old son under her wing and both were extremely dehydrated and flat when rescued. The milk bar is almost dry and both are thin but with fluids on board and some smoothie in Julie's tummy we are hoping that lactation re establishes and mum can continue to raise her baby. Baby Jason has had subcut fluids and a milk feed which we will continue with until a decisions are made resulting in the best outcome for them both.
