In this video we are chatting about the difference between the bases of Short and Mid stem fans, how to know when to use and apply each in order to get the best retention for our clients. ❤️ Pre-Fanned Volume is a method of volume lashing where the fans have been created for you and the base of the fan is already bonded. Pre-fan lashes are a perfect mix of Classic and Volume lashes. They are a great transition product from classic to volume as they achieve any type of volume lash finish from hybrid lashes all the way to Mega volume but with an application technique similar to Classic lashes which makes the service as speedy as Classics but as fluffy and beautiful as volume or mega. With this huge perk, it’s no wonder they are growing in popularity and are believed by many to be “the future of lashing”. You can expect your pre-fanned volume lash set to take about 30 minutes more than your standard classic full set in the beginning while getting the hang of the products and new application techniques. Once mastered, a full set of pre-fans will take about the same amount of time as your standard classic lash sets. Since the base of the fan is fused together for you, in most cases the fan cannot be manipulated, meaning all fans within the same tray will be the same dimension. Having the same dimension in a tray makes it necessary to have many more trays of lashes on hand than you are likely used to when doing classic or handmade volume services. You may have to use multiple full trays of lashes on one client in a few different dimensions in order to keep their lashes healthy and lightweight.
