https://shu.re/2Iv6naw In this video, we’ll take a look at Axient Digital ADX series transmitters, which feature wideband tuning, selectable power levels, and Shure rechargeable batteries for long runtimes. All ADX transmitters are ShowLink enabled, giving you remote control of parameters and automatic interference avoidance when linked to a ShowLink access point. The ADX series includes: the ADX1 Bodypack, the ADX2 Handheld, the ADX2FD Handheld, and the ADX1M Micro Bodypack. The ADX1 features light-weight construction in a compact form factor. The included flexible di-pole antenna performs well in even the most challenging RF environments, and is removable for easy replacement. The ADX1 can be conveniently docked in Shure charging stations, without removing the batteries. ADX1 models are available with either a TA4 or LEMO connector for compatibility with a wide range of microphones. The ADX2 and ADX2FD Handheld transmitters feature light-weight aluminum construction and are available in black or nickel finishes. To customize your sound, the handhelds are compatible with a wide range of Shure mic cartridges. In Frequency Diversity mode, The ADX2FD protects against dropouts by transmitting on two discrete frequencies. To extend range in single-carrier mode, the ADX2FD offers a 50mW power option. The handhelds are also dockable in Shure charging stations. The ADX1M Micro Bodypack’s compact design makes it easy to place on talent and comfortable to wear. The internal antenna is optimized for positioning directly against the body, and the Shure rechargeable battery provides long runtimes. The lightweight ULTEM construction stays cool during operation, and the high-contrast OLED display provides outstanding clarity in any environment The LEMO connector is compatible with popular broadcast and theater mics. Special features in the ADX series transmitters make set-up, walk testing, and troubleshooting easier. Each transmitter has a built-in tone generator that provides a continuous sound source for walk testing and sound checks. The tone generator offers selectable reference tones of 400 and 1000 Hertz. The level is adjustable from -60dB to 0dB. During testing, problems can easily be detected if the tone drops out or changes. To help map ShowLink coverage, ADX series transmitters include a built-in test to measure signal strength and help you place access points. When walk testing the microphone, the “Marker” function places flags on the Timeline recorder in Wireless Workbench. In Marker Mode, pressing “Enter” on the transmitter places flags in real time. Playing back the Timeline recording allows you to pinpoint the exact time when the marker was dropped and examine the Timeline data.
