I rarely get spooked. It’s not that I’m brave, but just that I don’t believe in ghosts, or spirits, or things typically assigned as supernatural. Those ideas are like comic book characters to me, entertaining fictions from the human mind. Still, sometimes I get uneasy when I’m alone in nature. Like that time the “thing in the woods” visited me briefly while the camera was running. And the other time, in this video, when I was suddenly compelled to turn back at the edge of an abandoned green tea farm high up and behind a silent bamboo forest in the Japan Southern Alps; and when the mountain did seemingly tumble down after me an enormous boulder to crash through the forest from the lost farm above, and seal the deal of my never coming back. (KB) #WalkingInJapan #softypapa 🍂 In the remote highlands of central Japan, nestled among tall peaks and dense forests, an old tea farm beckons. As Kurt Bell ventures into this forgotten haven, the weight of solitude and an eerie unease accompany him. This isn't just any desolate farm. The silent tea terraces and derelict structures seem to harbor more than memories. A sense of watchfulness pervades the air, as if the spirits of the mountain guard this forsaken land. Echoing this sentiment, a poem by "reymiland" captures the scene: "Oni watch as sofypapa climb. make boulder crash, said "home is MINE!"" Journey with Kurt as he braves this uncanny landscape. What ancient tales and myths are woven into the fabric of this land? Why does an air of otherworldly presence loom here? Dive into a narrative where every rustling leaf and whispering wind carries a story, reminding us of the mysteries that still reside in the world's quiet corners. Kurt Bell is a passionate explorer and dedicated family man, delving into the intricacies of life and the world around him. Born in America in 1964, he has journeyed both physically and philosophically, penning insights in his books like "Going Alone" and "No More Looking Out For Number One." With a stoic heart and a skeptic's mind, Kurt believes in navigating life without attaching any inherent meaning, yet finding purpose in every moment. ➡️ Explore more tales of forgotten relics with "Going Alone"; the hardcover edition captures Kurt's reflective expeditions 🤠🏜️☀️: https://a.co/d/6SORY8N 🌐 Website: https://goingalone.org 📧 Email: dinnerbytheriver@gmail.com 👍 Support my endeavors on Patreon: / softypapa Be safe...
