I've been thinking about doing it since the sixth grade. I'm just here to feel more confident just because every time I smile I feel like my smile is hindered because of the way that my nose is. I always thought that I had like a thicker nose. So, I just want it to be more elegant. So, I feel like after the surgery I'll definitely feel more confident. I chose Dr. Dugar because my best friend had a nose job done by him and I thought that it looked amazing and the surgery went really smooth, and everything went really well, so that's why I chose him. Yeah, there's a big difference between open and Scarless rhinoplasty. I've actually been doing research since I was in the sixth grade and I've noticed that the scarless rhinoplasty looks way better and cleaner. My advice to somebody thinking about getting rhinoplasty is to go with scarless just because I feel like the open rhinoplasty is a little bit more aggressive and looks more harsh afterwards. Today's a big day are you excited? Yes. Nervous? Yeah. That's totally normal it’s a little bit, you know, it's jittery you're getting surgery today. So things to remember, so we're doing everything from inside the nostrils, no cuts on the outside so you don't to worry about scarring or anything like that. Hopefully bruising will be very minimal. Some people get some, some people don't get any at all. We're hoping no bruising for you, but we'll do our best. Seven days you’ll have a little cast on. The day the cast comes off you’re back to normal life you can put on makeup, be out in public, more or less resume back to normal life. Okay so just to review what we're gonna do, so you have a great nose all we're gonna do is we're gonna define the tip a little bit more and define the profile so it just looks a little thinner and then we're also gonna bring the bones in to make it look thinner, and then we're gonna lift the tip up, and we’re gonna sculpt the profile just a little bit so that this part of your cartilage profile isn't as strong. So sculpting this, narrowing the bones, sculpting the tip and the profile that our plan for today. Okay? After surgery you wake up in the recovery area with a little cast on your nose and you won't remember anything, but your result will be great okay? Okay! With the nose like today’s we want to enhance and refine the nose without causing drastic or major change. She has a beautiful face so inflicting a scar at the base of the nose with open rhinoplasty is absolutely unnecessary so what we're gonna do today is close scarless rhinoplasty with my scarless nose technique. It's been seven days since the surgery and immediately after that I woke up and I had no pain. I had to take one sleeping pill for the first night, but after that I didn't take any of the pills. No pain meds nothing, which was great. And I had swelling for about two days and then the swelling went down, and then the bruising went away and now I think it looks great. What's fantastic about this procedure is I have absolutely no scars normally, or most doctors when they do rhinoplasty you have a scar down here which doesn't go away until like a month and I don't have any scars, so the second this cast comes off I'm going to lunch with my stepmom. He did exactly what I wanted! I was actually so scared that I wasn't gonna look like myself, but I still feel like I look like me but more refined and definitely softer. I, I can't stop looking at it I think it looks so good I'm really happy with the results
