Cheval Blanc and Mont Buet via the North Ridge, Bivouac at Col Corbeau 11/08/2020

Our hike to the summit of Mont Buet via Cheval Blanc following a Bivouac at Col Corbeau. Includes the climb up through the Tres Des Eaux. The going was good but the route is exposed in places and we found the most precarious places to be the loose scree slopes on the approach to the North Ridge. Best completed in late summer as Snow fields would be a problem in early season and a clear view of the topography is required to trace the route via cairns from the Cheval Blanc.
