In this video, we're taking a look at the Dobot CR5, an entry-level 6-degree-of-freedom DOF robotic arm/cobot. We'll share our experiences and its features, so stick around to the very end. Why did we buy a used Dobot CR5? A client recently approached us with a requirement for a robotic arm. Their usage was not that heavy, so we suggested the Dobot CR5. We also suggested going with a very minimally used one, which was nearly in new condition and cost us less than buying a new one. What are some of the Dobot CR5's key features? 6 degrees of freedom: This means that the arm can move in six independent directions. Special recording feature: This allows you to record the arm's movements and play them back later. Drag mode: This allows you to move the arm simply by dragging it with your hand. Trajectory record button: This allows you to record a series of arm movements and play them back later. The Dobot CR5 is a great option for anyone looking for an affordable and easy-to-use robotic arm. It's perfect for educational institutions, hobbyists, and small businesses. We're currently making the Dobot CR5 ROS compatible, which will open up a lot of new possibilities for us. We're excited to see what we can create with this powerful little arm!
