This Bedford Green goddess was built in 1956 for the auxiliary fire service and was put into Home office stock (storage) only being used on training exercises Later in its life was bought by the RAF and kept on a an air bace (can’t remember the name) and then used by the RAF during the fire strikes 2002-2004 where it served at St Helens then put in storage until 2007 in which was sold off and is on its fires owner if preservation. It is built in the Bedford RL chassis with a straight 6 4.9L 110 BHP engine It carries 300 gallons of water and has a pumping capacity of 900 gallons.
