On August 1st, 2023, police were called to an airport gate to deal with a disruptive and intoxicated passenger on a Southwest flight. The woman repeatedly tried to open the plane's rear hatch, causing a significant disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers found the woman highly intoxicated and aggressive, making it difficult to conduct a proper investigation. Despite the officers' attempts to calm her down, she became increasingly hostile, assaulted the officers, and ignored instructions. Eventually, she was arrested and taken to the police station. The woman later faced charges in court, including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
