The 29th day of the Sri Sathya Sai Prema Pravahini Rath Yatra was a vibrant and spiritually uplifting day for the devotees of Kundai Samithi. The day began in the serene ambiance of Shri Balaji Temple, Kunkali, where the early morning Suprabhatam and Nagarsankirtan set a devotional tone. The temple resonated with melodious chants, invoking blessings for the day ahead. Devotees gathered for the Pooja of Swami’s Rath, a sacred ritual that filled the atmosphere with divine energy and collective prayers. This was followed by a session of Likhitjap Sadhana and Sai Literature Reading, deepening everyone’s connection with Swami’s teachings. The Rath then embarked on its journey, moving from Kunkali to the Shri Mangeshi Temple parking area. The sight of the beautifully decorated Rath traveling through the village roads was a moment of joy and reverence for all who witnessed it. At Mangeshi, devotees experienced the Paduka Darshan and soulful bhajans by Shri Gajanan Bhajan Mandal, creating a spiritually charged environment and drawing more devotees into the fold. A major highlight of the day was the grand rally, where the Rath moved from Mangeshi to Mardol Gram-panchayat Hall. The procession, accompanied by the Vitthal-Rakhumai Navdurga group, was a vibrant display of faith and unity, with devotees participating enthusiastically in the dindi. Placards depicting Swami’s sayings added a special attraction, inspiring both participants and onlookers. The dedicated seva dal volunteers managed the traffic on the busy road with great care, ensuring the procession proceeded smoothly and without inconvenience to the public. The evening program began with a graceful Ganesh Vandana by Aditi Deshmukh, setting an auspicious tone for the gathering. During the welcome speech, Shri Mahesh Pawaskar, State President of SSSSO Goa, warmly welcomed the guests and expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting how Goa had embraced the Rath wholeheartedly. He shared that every samithi was pouring their heart out to feel Swami’s presence and to share that divine experience with all present in the hall. A special moment followed with the ceremonial offering of flowers to dignitaries and guests, expressing gratitude and respect. The atmosphere grew even more sacred with the chanting of Vedam, filling the hall with powerful vibrations. The State President then addressed the gathering, sharing words of inspiration and encouragement. A short documentary, prepared by Balvikas student Ramprasad Adpaikar, was a superb depiction in the local Konkani language of how Sathya Sai activities are flourishing in Goa. The film beautifully showcased the true emotions of a Sai devotee, resonating deeply with the audience. At the end of the program, Ramprasad was felicitated with a memento for his extraordinary work, and his humility was well appreciated by all. During the felicitation, Ramprasad’s mother turned emotional, reflecting the true Sai family spirit that binds everyone together. Local dignitaries and the dindi group were also felicitated, acknowledging their contributions and support. The audience was then blessed with an insightful and uplifting address by Shri Padmanabh Pai, President of the North Karnataka Sai Organization. In his speech, Shri Pai narrated his life journey with Swami, right from his childhood, sharing how Swami had guided him at every step. His personal experiences transported the audience into the divine leelas of Swami, leaving a lasting impression on every heart. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by a session of melodious bhajans and the Mangala Aarti, bringing the day’s spiritual journey to a blissful close. As Swami’s Rath returned to Shri Balaji Temple, Kunkali, the collective prayers, music, and devotion made Day 29 a memorable chapter in the Rath Yatra, strengthening the bonds of love and service within the Sai family.
