I spent the last month in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina, and one of the hidden thrifting gems is The Scrap Exchange in Durham. This thrift store is half regular thrift store and half art and sewing supplies thrift store. Needless to say, I was in sustainable sewing heaven! I found some of the BEST vintage fabric and some "interesting" vintage patterns in this thrift haul.
