Now the government is considering a new rule that candidates should have at least two children to contest in elections, so that leaders set an example for society. Financial help for families will also increase. Families with a second child receive ₹25,000, and now the scheme may also include families with three children. The third child may receive free education until 18 years and special health support. The government is also planning IVF treatment at low cost in government hospitals for couples who cannot have children. Additionally, fathers working in government jobs may get two months of paternity leave, so both parents can help raise their children.
