SPLIT CROATIA WALKING TOUR (1 DAY IN SPLIT)

In our Split Croatia walking tour, we take you around the second largest city in Croatia. We explore Diocletian's Palace, the beautiful seaside promenade, and enjoy delicious Croatian food. After driving up the Dalmatian Coast from Dubrovnik, we made our way to Split. Our first stop was to get coffee at D16. It is a specialty coffee shop with really good coffee. After coffee we began exploring Diocletian's Palace. The palace makes up a big part of the city. The Saint Domnius Cathedral is located in the middle of Diocletian's Palace. We spent some time in the square taking in the sights of the palace and church. Next we walked down the Riva. It's a seaside promenade with tons of shops and cafes. It's located between the Adriatic Sea and Diocletian's Palace. For lunch, we headed to Fife to enjoy Croatian food. We really enjoyed our food at Fife. After lunch, we set out to get gelato. We found a gelato shop called Bili San. The gelato here was also delicious. While walking around, we noticed that a football game was happening. We walked to the stadium to try and get tickets, but unfortunately they were sold out. Even though we didn't get to watch the game, we still had fun watching the fans around the stadium before the game. After leaving the stadium, we went back to the old town and wandered around the narrow alleyways and cobblestone streets one last time.
