As a celebration of all the amazing achievements of Old Park Primary School, Telford here is a completely original soundtrack and music video which features all the pupils, teachers, dinner supervisors, facilities manager and office staff, 600 people in total in 5 minutes and 27 seconds! Children and their teachers worked together to come up with all the ideas for each of the scenes to bring the lyrics to life. The lyrics were written through talking to the children about what is most important and exciting about their school. Old Park Primary won the TES Outstanding Primary Award 2011 and recently became a regional Arts Connect Hub School for their commitment to creativity and an enhanced arts education offer for children and young people and the wider school community. A former national School of Creativity, Old Park Primary continues to prove that creative educational practice improves engagement and impacts positively on achievement as seen in its recent SAT results. From September 2012 until July 2015, Old Park Primary will be a member of the "In Harmony' Telford & Stoke programme with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Telford & Wrekin Music, Stoke Music Service and Staffordshire Performing Arts. The programme will bring a wide range of exciting musical learning opportunities to all the young people in school and their families. Old Park Primary has an open doors policy and welcomes visitors from business, education and the arts regularly. This video was shot and produced by John Hill-Daniel, Music composed and produced by Richard Shrewsbury & Martin Riley, Dance / Movement / Choreography by Joanne Billingham.
