Strat:- Main idea behind this strategy is the use of the ability Shadow Tag (which is unusable in normal competitive smogon tiers). Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet is the first pokemon to come out, usually people use wobbuffet to set up or set entry hazards because Wobbuffet would otherwise counter attack moves with Mirror Coat/Counter, so instead either of those, you can use Encore to lock them into the status move. Because of Shadow Tag the opponent cannot switch out unless it's a ghost type. Gothorita: Next you switch out to Gothorita once opponent is locked into status move and use trick to give choice lock item, in my case I used choice scarf, to make the opponent unable to use anything but the status move even if encore ends. (However dynamax pokemon can negate this affect, which can obviously mess this strategy up quite.) Since Opponent is now locked into status move, you can now safely use thunder wave or any other preferred move on it to cripple the pokemon a bit more, if desired. Gothitelle: Gothitelle is the sweeper of this team, once the previous stuff is done, Gothitelle can come in easily and set up cosmic powers with no problem because the opponent cannot attack. Once fully set up, you can start using Stored Power to sweep the opponents, or use different moves on Dark types and can take most attacks because you have 6+ Defense and Special Defense. List of Counters: 1. Your opponent not using a status move and you encoring to an attacking move. 2. Dynamax since it ignores choice locked items or encore 3. Ghost types, since they are unaffected by Shadow Tag 4. Neutralizing Gas, since it neutralizes Shadow Tag 5. Tanky Dark types that can't be taken out by other moves, because Gothitelle doesn't have any fairy type moves 6. Darkest Lariat, because it ignores your stat boosts and is super effective 7. Toxic Spikes because you get poisoned and don't even have time to set up before it kills you. Can be negated by Heavy Duty Boots 8. A full team of fast attackers can wear it down by chipping it very easily.
