Using distance per volume of fuel consumed causes a rather weird scenario for comparison purposes however, which is perhaps why the rest of the world does the reverse: volume of fuel consumed per distance driven. Enjoy the video to see how the math causes complications with MPG that don't exist when using G/100mi or L/100km. Engineering Explained is a participant in the Amazon Influencer Program.
