Well friends here you can see a reddish purple coloured circular lesion on scalp with low hair density in the region of lesion, this lesion is actually hemangioma which is a vascular anomaly. Since it is present in infant life so called as infantile hemangioma . During early life up to 5 months they are found to grow, then the resting stage comes and later on then they show regression and heals themselves sometimes leaving & sometimes do not leave any kind of scars. Sometimes they require surgical intervention or may be treated by lasers.
