We spent Labor Day Weekend in Sturgeon Bay Door County with our boat besties checking out the maritime museum, live music, and got to sail on a Cheoy Lee 40! We're posting the next day of the trip tomorrow! Check back to see our fast sail to Oconto! ______________________________________________________________________ Seemed like the stars were aligned when we stumbled upon our sailboat Slow Ride in 2015. We had no idea how to dock a boat, call for a bridge lift, or how to contact a marina. It all seemed a bit overwhelming. Thankfully, mentors at Windjammers Sailing Club and a great group of cruising buddies came along with our boat. We have been so inspired by the wealth of information available to us that we started documenting our adventures and sharing as much information as you can visit them too! We hope to one day sail the Great Loop, explore the Great Lakes, and sail to the Caribbean. But for now, we are enjoying our five-month sailing season in Wisconsin. We're always looking for new sailing destinations to squeeze into our short summers and would love to hear about your favorite bays and restaurants on the bay. Hope to see you out there!
