【Pls look at the top comment first】Turn back time to the glorious 1980s. The 1980s saw the booming of NWOBHM, which spread on the music scene. Bronz was a part of the NWOBHM movement. Today the band has become a name of the past, but their songs are always memorable, which can hit fans in the hearts. Bronz was formed in 1976 in South West England. The band founder/guitarist Chris Goulstone played mainly around the UK and at the "free festivals" of the time. After an early tie up with Dave Panton as their manager in 1980, the band played many support slots at The Marquee and Music Machine with Angel Witch, More, Diamond Head, and Anvil. In this video, there the line-up in the album "Carried By The Storm". In their active years, Bronz experienced line-up changes in each album. In this album, Chris Goulstone left the band. The only original member is Shaun Kirkpatrick. Bronz put out three studio albums and one live album. "Carried By The Storm" is the third album by the band, which was released in 2010, but this is a delayed album, released by an independent label. Actually it was recorded in 1985. In the three albums, there were different vocalists. Among all the studio albums, the debut "Taken By Storm (1984)" spreads most widely among the fan base. The album "Carried By The Storm" recommended in the video featured Ian Baker on lead vocals. Two former vocalists of Bronz were Paul Webb (original lead vocalist) and Max Bacon. This time Shaun Kirkpatrick reformed the band and continued recording songs. "Carried By The Storm" was recorded at the Roundhouse studios until the label went into receivership. It was not officially released, but it can become a marvel for both hard rock and aor fans. Speaking of NWOBHM bands, the hard and heavy flavoured songs can appear in most people's heads. That is true. But many 1980s NWOBHM bands had very melodious songs that can attract fans' ears and can spread among melodic rock fans. Bronz is an example with beautiful tunes in each of their albums as blessings for ears. Compared to many other 1980s NWOBHM bands with pure metal songs, the songs by Bronz do not sound very heavy. Among the three studio albums, "Carried By The Storm" was created mainly in the melodic hard rock style. By comparison, the other two album by Bronz sounds harder and heavier than "Carried By The Storm", but they includes several very melodious songs as well. In the album "Carried By The Storm", Shaun Kirkpatrick did multiple jobs and it was produced by Max Norman. Ian Baker's bright voice lights up the songs. Musically, most of the melodic rock gems make the album distinctive among all Bronz's releases. The synth programming was made by Shaun Kirkpatrick. We can hear magic keys in several songs making our heads full of 1980s dreams. I recommend a melodic hard rock gem "Dangerous Game" in the video. We can feel rock passion and deep emotion in the album. Each track can become a single to make whoever first knows Bronz fall in love with the band. With this epic but very underrated album, Bronz can be remembered all the time. "Can't Live Without Your Love", "Carried By The Storm" (with saxophones), "You & Me", "One More Time", "Two Silhouettes" and "Figure In The Dark" all sound terrific, which focus on good melodies and make the album attracted by whoever loves the best 1980s melodic hard rock gems. This video is made in memory of Shaun Kirkpatrick, an all-around musician behind this album who passed away in July 2013. #HardRock #HairMetal #Bronz #ShaunKirkpatrick
