It was here and then it was gone, another successful year of participating in Inktober 2020. I know there was some drama at the beginning of Inktober, people wondering to participate or not. I wasn't going to let that drama stop me from the one month of joy that I get from Inktober. I followed along with Jake Parker's 2020 Inktober prompts, I skipped a couple of prompts and did my own thing on a couple of them. I was able to do every single day, along with recording every single drawing. It was a huge success that I was able to put all the recordings into 5 day interval videos! This Inktober year was different. In a good way it was different, I was able to devote a lot of time to these drawings. A lot of these drawings turned out to be so beautiful and better than I imagined. Now that I am a freelance artist, I'm happy that this Inktober is the one good thing that came out of the year 2020, at least in my life that is. 2020 has been tough and I'm happy Inktober was still there to bring some joy to my life as an artist.
