Τα κλήματα είναι ένα έθιμο, λίγο πριν το Πάσχα, στην ενορία του Σωτήρος Χριστού στη Λέρο όπου μαζεύονται τα κλαδιά από τα αμπέλια και μεταφέρονται στην εκκλησία. Εκεί τα καίνε και τα χρησιμοποιούν για καρβουνάκια. Every year on the Wednesday 2 weeks before orthodox easter week, there is an old tradition where the younger people would gather at the church and leave together to go to the vineyards of the island and gather the branches from the pruning. They would bring this back to the church and burn them to make incense, so the church has for the whole year. If you notice some kids are holding flags that are only plain color. This is because during the Italian occupation there were not allowed to go out with the Greek and byzantine flag so they would take the fabrics from the stands of the church icons and use them as flags. Unfortunately, it is an old tradition that is fading away and is still only done by the church of Christos.
