The tenth release from this North-American duo. This project captures, in the best way possible, the avant-garde movement of the lo-fi black metal that is not shy to incorporate atypical textures in their music. As this search of darkness or the same darkness that comes to us, which takes various forms and means differently to each of us, transferring into music can be seen in this shapeshifting way. This record for me has this meaning, not from the start because it was rather hard to connect at first, but as I repeated, each listening allowed me to uncover something and experience a bit further into this otherworldly plane, a different crossroad. To be honest, it is not an easy road, either the record or the voyage it imposes on us to go, but in the end if you survive, you will be able to experience this strange enlightenment. But then again, what else to be expected from this project or Wilt-Shine? As for the music, it is great, just try to absorb as much as you can in each take.
