Thanks to @Ironinquisitor for narrating the quotes in this video. When discussion on the Expanded Universe comes up, Sequel and Disney shills try spreading a heavily misguided and disingenuous narrative about how the Expanded Universe was never canon, and they do this so that they can justify their stance and try not to appear as hypocrites. The narrative only exists because people either want to spite George Lucas, or they can't come up with an explanation that doesn't expose their hypocrisy. Well here, I'm going to very clearly explain why the Expanded Universe was at one point Canon without a shadow of a doubt, sharing quotes in full context, evidence, and various behind the scenes stories of many Star Wars projects outside the films such as Star Wars 1313 or The Star Wars Republic Comics.
