I'm very proud to bring this video to youtube, as there are ZERO even semi-professional repair videos for the Yamaha HH65 hi hat pedal, for any component, at time of this upload. The sheet sensor is the most common problem for the HH65, which is why I ran into it myself, and I know this video will help alot of folks to not have to buy a new pedal. It costs about 6 times the price of the sensor for a new pedal, and this fix only takes about 1 hour, if you're careful and efficient. I won't post the link to where I bought my sensor, as it's specific to ebay Canada, and they may stop selling them at any time. But you know what to search up.
