Trim Castle is located on the South bank of the River Boyne in Trim, county Meath, Ireland. Trim Castle is considered the largest Norman castle to be found until this very day in Ireland and thus makes it a place to mark and visit whenever it comes to Ireland tourism. We discovered that Trim Castle was built in 1173 and the remains of St. Marys Abbey found there are believed to be found by St. Patrick. Trim Castle has also been known as the "Yellow Steeple" due to the way it looks and the color of its stones when they are exposed to the sun.
