*Correction: the Rane MP2015 is a digital mixer not analog. I was fooled by the website's description: "the MP2015's analog soul and digital heart". There's a lot of talk online about which DJ mixer sounds the best and why, so I wanted to find out for sure. I put three of the best DJ mixers available now head-to-head (along with one cheap mixer) to see how they differ in sound quality. For each mixer I play a segment of my new song "The Dirty" at normal gain, then sweep the low pass and high pass filters, and then also push the gain into the red (clipping).
