While we are restoring the ancestral cabin, we actually live in a different house in a remote Carpathian village. 🏠🌲 In this episode, we invite you into our REAL home to show you our daily routine with farm animals and authentic village chores. 🐄 MORNING FARM CHORES: The day begins in the stable. Ivan takes care of the heavy work—feeding the cows and cleaning the barn 🧹. Vitaliya joins to feed the pigs 🐖 and hand-milk the cows 🥛, gathering fresh milk for the family. 🔥 FIRE & BIRCH SAP: Ivan heads out to chop firewood and light the kitchen stove. Then, he walks to the birch grove to collect fresh birch sap (juice) 🌳💧—a traditional and healthy spring drink in the Carpathians. 🥔 TRADITIONAL LUNCH: While Ivan waters the cattle, Vitaliya prepares a delicious, simple lunch: boiled potatoes, wild mushrooms 🍄, and fresh salad 🥗. 🍽️ FAMILY MEAL: Ivan brings the fresh birch juice, helps set the table, and the couple sits down to enjoy the fruits of their labor together.
