On today's video, we're building a custom stainless steel exhaust for the flooded 1965 Corvair Monza 110. The goal was to eliminate the drone on the interstate and create something unique and give me a chance to improve my TIG skills. Ever since we installed the "Ultimate" exhaust, it has droned terribly at 3000 RPM, and sadly that's right where I want to drive on the interstate. Since we're driving the car to a lot more shows this year, it needed to be tolerable for long distances. Plus, we're going to try and drive the car to the Corsa nationals in OH this year! Follow along as I take on the challenge of learning to work with stainless steel and practice my TIG skills.
