In this video I look at the American Express Platinum Card to see if it is still worth the £650 annual fee in 2025 I cover what I feel are the core benefits and how I use them to maximise value travelling as a family of four. There are other benefits to this card, but I don't cover these in this video as I see them as peripheral. The ones not covered include: 1. Status in hotel loyalty schemes (Marriot/Hilton/Melia/Raddison) 2. Enrolment in Avis Presidents Club 3. American Express Experiences For Airline points earnings such as Avios, there are more favourable options such as the Amex BA Premium Card, or the Barclaycard Avios Plus Card which deliver 1.5 points per £1.
