Part 2 is now available. It has more detail and uses the latest server files. Check it out. • How to Setup a Private Agar.io Server Part 2! Update: This still works both with the server browser extension and by typing the IP of the server in the address bar (Example Below). The connect("ws://x.x.x.x:xxxx") command doesn't seem to work anymore. This is the only thing that has changed as far as I can tell. https://github.com/forairan/Ogar https://nodejs.org/ http://agar.io Google the agar.io server browser addon/extension for your browser. If you have the server browser extension you will get an IP box when you go to agar.io. Type the IP address of the server as "ws://x.x.x.x:xxxx". You can type this directly in your address bar to connect to the server without using the server browser. "http://agar.io/?ip=x.x.x.x:xxxx". The ws:// is not needed when doing this. Some commands I use in the video are "cd C:\users\username\downloads\ogar-master\ogar-master\src" (This is to dictate where you will install the node files. To find the directory of your folder right click on any file under the folder "src" and copy the directory next to "Location". "npm install ws" (This installs the needed node files in the current directory) All credit goes to the people who actually took the time to make this awesome thing.
