I own a 2003 Lexus SC 430 and this is part one of three in a series of replacing the leather seats. Part 1 is the bottom of the seat. Part 2-Lexus SC 430 leather replacement part 2 top of the leather seat. Part 3- Lexus SC430 leather replacement of the center console armrest. I’m just an average joe that is handy and loves to work on my car. I got estimates between $1000 to $1800 to install the seats. I decided to do it myself. I bought the leather seat covers from Amazon and the company is called the Seatsshop. It was close to $400. I am really happy with the Quality and color match. The original seats were a much smoother leather then the new leather seats. I actually like the way the new leather seats feel. Please remember that the leather seat in your car is 19 years old and the color will be off just a bit due to sun. I believe anybody that can turn a screwdriver and squeeze a hog ring Pliers can do this. Thanks for watching, You can do this! You will need common tools. The only extra tools and parts is hog rings, hog ring pliers and 3M adhesive spray. The hog rings and pliers can be bought together on Amazon.
